What's it about?
Creative Tech Fest 2025 is a collaborative project led by Basildon Council in partnership with local businesses, creative tech specialists and educators.
The festival will showcase the synergy between creativity and technology through a range of event experiences that aim to:
- Inspire audiences with the possibilities and opportunites of creative tech
- Enable audiences to grow in confidence and build on existing skills and interests
- Develop and evolve a future-focused Basildon
Who is it for?
Festival events - including workshops, talks and experiences - will showcase the synergy between technology and creativity, and are designed to appeal to one or more of these core audience demographics:
- Young people
- Families
- Educators
- Business leaders
Can I submit an event or activity idea?
YES! We are very keen to hear ideas from individuals, organisations and businesses.
Let us know how you'd like to be involved by completing an Expression of Interest form and a member of the festival team will be in touch to discuss next steps.
Here are just a few ways to get involved:
- Submit a full event
- Run an activity within a partner event
- Exhibit or speak at a partnership event
- Offer a venue that can be used to host partner events
- Volunteer during the festival
Please note - the deadline for submissions for the 2025 festival is November 18th 2025.
