Join us for a fascinating 45 minute talk under the Museum of the Moon with Steve Plant, Orbital Liabilities Lead at the UK Space Agency. The UK Space Agency support the government to boost UK prosperity, understand the Universe and protect our planet and outer space.
Discover the wonders of the moon, revisit the historic moon landing and learn about the latest projects exploring our solar system. With insights from one of the UK's leading experts, this talk promises to be both educational and inspiring for space enthusiasts of all ages.
What to expect
A 45 minute talk from Steve Plant followed by 30 minutes to explore under the moon and take pictures. This 7-metre illuminated lunar sculpture, created using detailed NASA imagery, offers an unforgettable setting for exploring space and technology. Each centimetre of the sculpture represents 5km of the lunar surface, immersing you in the scale and beauty of our closest celestial neighbour.What the aims are
